Cross-Country Races Show Outstanding Performances

Dean Close School proudly hosted its annual Cross-Country races, a thrilling event that brought all of the school's Houses together to display their athletic abilities and sportsmanship. The competition was a shining example of the students' unwavering dedication, unity, and remarkable athletic talents, leaving a lasting impression on all who attended.

Mr. Baber-Williams, our Director of Sport, described the event as one of the most positive Cross-Country gatherings the school has ever witnessed. The pupils demonstrated excellence and competed with great enthusiasm, brilliantly representing their respective Houses.

The event celebrated and acknowledged the exceptional performances of the race winners, underscoring their dedication and remarkable skills:

A hearty congratulations goes out to everyone that took part, especially those that felt out of their comfort zone, but persevered none-the-less, and well done to the the overall winners of the competition: Mead House and Field House, who secured top honors in the girls' and boys' categories, respectively. Their outstanding performances were a testament to their talent and the collaborative spirit of Dean Close School.
