Hockey Success for Gabby

Gresham's would like to congratulate Gabby Stilgoe following selection for the final England U16 hockey trials to take place in February. Gabby forms part of the unbeaten Gresham's U15 team. She has attended many training and selection camps over the years at Norfolk county and East divisional level and her determination to improve has led to this chance to become an international player and Gresham's first female international.The school has produced five international male players in recent years and 1988 Gold medallist Richard Leman is an OG. Most significantly, Gabby is one of just a few girls in England selected for this trial who are, in fact, one year young for this age group and therefeore will be vying for a place in the same England team next year.

Well done Gabby, just reward for your determination and effort.
