Neurodiversity Celebration Week 2025
Published by LVS Ascot on Friday 21st of March 2025
LVS Ascot hosted a range of activities for our students in recognition of this year’s Neurodiversity Celebration Week, Monday 17th – Friday 21st March. It was a fantastic opportunity to celebrate the Neurodivergent pupils and conditions that we have at our school.
There were a variety of activities taking place. Read this lovely comment that one of our tutor’s made about Monday’s activity:
“I had a really good session with my form in our life learning slot! They were very interested in finding out more about the three neurodiverse celebrities and what it meant for them individually. The super thing was that they also shared amongst themselves too. There was some lovely discussion from them all along with some of them sharing their neurodiverse qualities which, was agreed amongst them all, would not be shared with anyone else outside the classroom.”
One particularly fun activity happened on the Wednesday, where students took part in a Tutor Group Competition. They had to create a poster or display in pairs or groups, on an aspect of Neurodiversity or a famous person who is neurodivergent. The winner gets a waffle breakfast!
