Welcome Mr Jones!

We are very excited to announce the appointment of Merchiston's new Headmaster, Mr Huw Jones. 

Huw is currently Deputy Head of Warminster School, where he has spent the past six years. Huw will move to Edinburgh this summer with his wife Kerry, a teacher and former Assistant Director of Sport, and their two sons Samuel (6) and Louis (4), both of whom will be joining the Merchiston community as pupils.

We thank Mr Anderson for the his incredible leadership since 2018 and we wish him all the very best for his new post as Headmaster of Campbell College, Belfast.
