Congratulations to Elodie for being awarded an Academic Scholarship to @canfordschool . Elodie is an all round academic but her talents particularly shine in English. She is a talented writer, who has received a notable mention from #MichaelMorpurgo when she decided to write an epilogue to his novel #PrivatePeaceful. She has been a judge at the Bath Novel Awards for the past three years, and is she is also currently writing a short story for a literary company. Elodie is currently a School Leader and carries out her responsibilities with integrity and humour. She has a key role to play as a class mentor and visits her charges several times a week. Mrs Katie Johnson, Head of Castle Court commented "Elodie is an exceptional pupil. She is a natural leader, and has shown qualitities of discernment, kindness and fortitude in her approach to all tasks. She is self assured and shows maturity beyond her years. She will be an asset to Canford and I can't wait to keep track as her academic career develops."
