Churcher's College GCSE Examination Results 2024

Published by Churcher's College on Thursday 22nd of August 2024

This year’s GCSE results for Churcher’s bring many a smile to many a face and better-than-ever levels of success.

As athletes who enjoyed Olympic glory in Paris find, the better you become, the harder it is to get better, to achieve personal bests, but, despite this, personal bests still keep coming at Churcher’s College.

With around a quarter of exams at gold medal winning grade 9 and over 50% of all exams grade 9 and 8, this year’s GCSE results for Churcher’s bring many a smile to many a face and better-than-ever levels of success.

With such stunning achievements at GCSE, and on the back of hugely impressive A Level results, demand for places in the Sixth Form at Churcher’s College remains exceptionally high but it is not just about academic results.

Just after they had clearly performed so well in the exam hall, over two hundred Churcher’s musicians were on the professional stage in London at Cadogan Hall enjoying standing ovations; and over the summer there were expeditions to Mozambique, Eswatini and Norway, a team was completing the Welsh 3000s, the choir was performing on stage at Disneyland Paris, there was national recognition for our drama and art and, after all the regional and national sporting success of last year, pre-season training is just about to begin for the coming year. So much to celebrate; whether success inside the classroom is as a consequence of all that is happening outside or vice-versa there is no doubt that, once again, there have been gold medal performances aplenty at Churcher’s College; just rewards for all the energy and endeavour that is a hallmark of life at Churcher’s.

Another day with so much joy and reward for all at Churcher’s!
