Uni Speed Networking

Last Friday, we welcomed 19 wonderful alumnae back to Tormead for our popular University Speed Networking Event. The format of the evening allowed the students to choose which alumnae they particularly wanted to speak to during a 4-minute meeting, before moving on. There was a buzz (quite literally when the timer went off!) in the room as students from Year 9 through to Year 12 came prepared with questions and laptops, determined to make the most of this fantastic opportunity. We were so impressed by our students’ initiative and enthusiasm during their conversations, which was echoed by our alumnae. The evening ended with general networking where students could follow up with their favourite alumnae.

Courses represented ranged from Geography to Medicine; Engineering to Business Management; Fashion Design to Psychology; Biomedical Sciences to Philosophy; and Primary Education to History
