Tommy Freeman’s standout performance played a pivotal role in England’s 27-24 win over Italy in their opening match of the Six Nations. Positioned on the wing, Tommy showcased his versatility by setting up the team's first try. Receiving a sharp pass from Henry Slade, he swiftly handed it on to Elliot Daly before the try line, contributing to England's unbeaten record against Italy.
Freeman's dynamic playing style was evident in his roving role, where he expressed his freedom outside the team's basic plan: "I've been given license to go and do my thing," he told The Guardian.
As an Old Culfordian, Tommy embodies resilience, honesty, and dynamism throughout his career. The Culford community eagerly cheer him on as he continues to make waves in the Six Nations Championship.
