England Under 20 Rugby Star At Ryde School

Last Friday Ryde School had a surprise visit from past pupil and current England U20 rugby player Rory Taylor. Rory kindly came in to present his playing shirt to the school from his recent fixture against Scotland U20 in the U20 Six Nations.

Frank Bagnall, Director of Sport at Ryde and one of Rory’s old rugby coaches commented on how lovely it was for the current Ryde School rugby players, many already in the DPP programmes for London Irish, to meet Rory. ‘It was a pleasure to welcome Rory back to school as an Old Rydeian and we will be displaying his shirt in the pavilion to inspire the next generation of athletes at Ryde. We wish him the best of luck with his career moving forward and look forward to welcoming him again soon’.
