International Netball At Wembley

‘Wembley Arena full to capacity; two incredibly good and close international netball matches; autographs to be had, big screen opportunities; the chance to celebrate her 100th England cap with one of netball’s GOATs … the makings of a fun, inspiring and empowering day out. We cheered as loudly as we could: Uganda – the underdogs – pushed New Zealand all the way, and England came tantalisingly close to beating Australia; we were on everybody’s side, because netball and sportsmanship displayed at their highest level were the true winners on the day. Our thanks to all of the pupils who joined this trip on Sunday – it really was an outstanding day.’
