World Languages Day

26th September is traditionally the European Day of Languages.

We decided to call it 'World Languages Day', so that we could celebrate the amazing range of languages which our staff, pupils and their families speak, including Russian, Japanese, Danish, Afrikaans, French, German and Spanish.

As part of the day, Years 4 to 8 were treated to an assembly during which they learnt how to say 'Hello' in ten different languages!
