Congratulations Year 13

It was great to see a good number of our Year 13 leavers coming into school this morning to collect their A Level and BTEC results and to see them celebrating their successes. This was the first set of public exams that this year group has sat and we were so pleased that all the hard work they put in, supported expertly by their teachers, has resulted in some excellent outcomes. This is particularly true given that grade boundaries, as reported in the media, were the highest they have been nationally since 2019. As a consequence, our students are now looking forward to heading off to a wide range of Russell Group Universities across the country including King's College London, Birmingham, York, Warwick, Liverpool and Queen Mary to study a variety of different subjects (Law, Economics, Biomedical Science, English, French, Physics, Chemistry, Psychology and Graphic Design), whilst others are excited about embarking on apprenticeship programmes with companies such as Deutsche Bank. We are extremely proud of them and wish them all the very best for the next stage of their education, secure in the knowledge that they are well prepared for life after school in every sense.
