Riders Showcase Top Skills at Strathallan Showjumping Competition

Over 180 riders showcased their exceptional skills at Strathallan’s annual team and individual Showjumping Competition, held on Sunday, November 26, 2023, at Howe Equestrian Centre in Fife.


The Competition commenced at 9:00 AM and concluded at 6:30 PM, with riders demonstrating impressive jumping throughout the day.


Tom Myles of Howe Equestrian Centre deserves immense credit for his exceptional efficiency in calling forward the competitors, ensuring that the event ran smoothly and according to schedule. The course builder, Callum Glasgow, meticulously designed challenging courses that tested the skills and agility of each rider.


Jane Calder, the judge for the competition, expertly handled the scoring and provided insightful commentary throughout the day, captivating the audience and enhancing the overall experience. Deebees Rosettes, a renowned supplier of equestrian rosettes and sashes, contributed to the event’s success with their striking and colourful rosettes and sashes.


The Strathallan Showjumping Competition proved to be an outstanding showcase of equestrian talent, highlighting the dedication, passion, and skill of the participating riders. We were thrilled to see riders from various age groups and skill levels competing, creating a vibrant and competitive atmosphere.
