Senior Team Building

Year 7, 8, 6e and 5e enjoyed a Team Building day in the woods. Pupils rotated around three activities including knifework, cooking, and knots and construction.

The Seniors reviewed the basics of knife safety before using different tools to create a totem for their team. Their knife skills were also put to use preparing veggie kebabs which were cooked on a fire along with homemade flat breads and halloumi. Finally, pupils were shown different knots and materials and tasked to create a shelter. These shelters had to be functional and include different features: an engineering challenge! 

Over the day, Senior pupils demonstrated excellent teamwork and collaboration. The friendships that they have built and skills they have learned will be invaluable over the course of the year.
