Gold And Silver At The Welsh Ski Champs!

The team competed with schools from all over Wales, in Llangranog, and have been training hard over recent weeks

The boys were already the current Welsh Champions, but for three individuals it was their first race.

Both Mya and Louis in both of our teams were awarded shields for the fastest skiers in Wales who are not in the Welsh Ski Squad, this is a real achievement and is usually only won by skiers knocking on the door of Welsh Ski Squad selection. Well done both!

The next stop is the British Finals Competition on November 26 at Hillend, Scotland!

In other exciting news a huge congratulations to Year 10 Agatha, on being selected to the Welsh Elite Squad. Agatha is currently snow training with her other team in Hintertux, Austria. Well done everybody, you've made us all incredibly proud and are brilliant ambassadors for our school.

A huge thanks to Jon and Ann Demery for mentoring the team and taking them to Llangranog.
