Royally Good Performance By Chamber Choir

The Chamber Choir, invited by the Beaconsfield Town Council, performed for the local community at a concert in celebration of King Charles the III’s Coronation.

The Beaconsfield Brass Band played a variety of classics including the National Anthem, and many other schools in the area entertained with singing and dancing. The Chamber Choir did not disappoint and – accompanied by Doctor Vorotko and conducted by our Head of Music, Nick Pegden – sang some beautiful hymns and choral pieces in three-part harmony, including Mozart’s ‘Round Donna Nobis Pacem’, the hymn ‘Seek Ye First’, and ‘The Lark in the Clear Air’, arranged by Samuel Ferguson.

Chamber Choir really did sing beautifully and were praised for their wonderful performances at this historic event. Well done to all involved!
