Legally Blonde

After seven months of rehearsals, the Tormead/George Abbott production of ‘Legally Blonde’ finally took its place in Guildford’s very own Yvonne Arnaud Theatre. We got into the theatre on the first Sunday of the Easter holidays; with the valuable support of parent volunteers and the team at Yvonne Arnaud, the set was put together and the pit was built. The following day the cast and band came in and got straight to work. Although it was difficult adjusting to new surroundings, set and tech, the cast showed utmost resilience and professionalism throughout the whole process. After two long days of rehearsals, the cast gave two fantastic and energetic performances to an almost sold out audience. Huge congratulations to everyone involved and I look forward to seeing the next Tormead/George Abbott theatrical collaboration!
