New Mud Kitchen Inspires Play!

Mrs Satherley was delighted to unveil the new mud kitchen at Longdon today. Designed by Mrs Satherley and built by Mr Dunning from our Facilities Team, the new kitchen was first used by the Forest Tots children. They were thrilled to use the kitchen, complete with two sinks, a hob, shelves and a white board for writing recipes. It was pots and pans galore as the children concocted all sorts of pretend soups and treats for a splendid picnic!

Forest Tots is a weekly community group for children aged under 5 and their parents and is based at the Longdon campus. Running from 10am to 11am each Friday during term time, Forest Tots encourages children to develop self-confidence and resilience while learning about the wonders of the natural world.
