Young Enterprise Success At Rushmere!

Congratulations to our students who competed in the Company Programme of Young Enterprise NI at Rushmere Shopping Centre on Thursday 9th February. Four RSD Young Enterprise teams were in attendance – Enlighten, Hammered by Heart, Claws4aCause and Body & Soul. The pupils have gained numerous key employability skills including team working, communication and problem solving. All four groups have worked hard in recent months and represented RSD at both Young Enterprise trade fairs, displaying enthusiasm and maturity while selling to the general public and speaking to the judges (comprised of representatives from various businesses in NI).

Enlighten won the coveted ‘Best Company’ of the Southern area against lots of tough competition. Body & Soul won ‘Most innovative product’ with their compressed sheet face mask. Daniel Bell and Scott Arthur from Body & Soul also won ‘Best Salesperson’ as a duo. Congratulations to everyone involved.

The groups will be selling in school in the coming months – please support them in their entrepreneurial venture.
