Surrey Ski School Championship

CONGRATULATIONS to Ethan, Sophia and Owen

Three of our Upper School Pupils took part in their first Surrey Schools Ski Championships on Sunday 13th November, representing Barfield School. They were up against some larger, more established school teams. With only three team members it was important they all skied the individual slalom course twice without any errors as they couldn’t afford to have any one of them disqualified! They all skied really well, made no errors and got competitive times too.

Despite not winning any individual medals, with a very good combined time, they did win the Mixed Team Senior Primary School category by quite a good lead and also the Mixed Team Overall Primary award!! They were thrilled and have been buzzing with excitement since!
