Arkwright Scholarship For Sophie

On Friday 28 October, Arkwright Scholarship Awards were presented to students from across the country at the Institute of Engineering and Technology, including to Sophie M (Year 12) at LCS. Sophie was put forward for this prestigious scholarship by the school’s Head of Design and Technology, Mr Hoddle, who guided her through the rigorous interview and selection process. Sophie’s scholarship is being sponsored by the Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers and is in recognition of her outstanding potential as a future leader in engineering.
