Mock COP Conference

Published by Holme Grange School on Tuesday 29th of November 2022

I hope from reading our website, you get an idea about what is unique about our School and what it means to be part of such an amazing community. There can be no substitute for a visit, and I invite you to come and see for yourself what it means to live the Holme Grange Way!

We are a school where every child is valued as an individual, where strengths are celebrated and used to support growth of academic, social and emotional development in equal measure. Our youngest children are encouraged to enjoy their childhood and not rush to enter the adult world, yet from an early age, they demonstrate a maturity beyond their years, a compassion for others and a kindness which extends throughout their time with us and beyond.

We are aspirational for our young people and innovative in how we maximise their potential. We aim to inspire achievement beyond expectation within an environment where every child can succeed.

We have a diverse range of students in the school and our goal is for each one to feel valued, believe in themselves, like and respect themselves and others and leave us as confident individuals who will make a positive contribution to society. We ‘go the extra mile’ and our pupils do too.

In the words of our Y11 student, Head of School 2021 – “we are much more than an educational establishment – we are a farm, we are a laboratory filled with budding scientists, we are the next generation of Michelin star chefs, the Steve Jobs, Shakespeares, Monet, Flemings just waiting to get out there and find their place in the world… Others thrive but at Holme Grange we soar”.

We take the time to know our pupils and take pride in the fact that visitors to our school comment that we are ‘a school with a soul’. Our values, policies and aims are more than words on a piece of paper – they are lived every day in the lives of all who attend.
We look forward to welcoming your child and you, to the Holme Grange Community.
