Our Musicians Hit the High Notes Again!

We have received another wonderful set of music exam results at FSM. This is really exciting and shows how disciplined and talented our FSM musicians are. Exams were taken using a large variety of instruments including euphonium, violin, saxophone, piano and flute and whilst there were several Grade 1 beginners we also attained Grade 4 and 5 distinction marks. ABRSM is the UK’s largest music education body, one of its largest music publishers and the world’s leading provider of music exams, offering assessments to over 650,000 candidates in more than 90 countries every year. At FSM we enter candidates for ABRSM exams every term and find these really help our pupils to grow musically and also in confidence as young people. The children were thrilled to be presented with their special ABRSM certificates in the assembly on the first day of term. Well done to all those children who can add a new certificate to their collection. - Beverley Miller
