Millie-Maye runs Marathon “Jog-in-June” to Raise Funds for The Unicorn School

Published on isbi School News dated Monday 13th of June 2016

Unicorn School pupil Millie-May is jogging the equivalent of a marathon to raise funds for The Unicorn School. Millie-Maye will be running a total of 26.2 miles in stages throughout the month of June 2016, and aims to complete the full marathon by the end of the month. Millie-Maye is well on her way to becoming an experienced runner, having already completed “The Rainbow Run” and “The Santa Run” in aid of the charity Helen and Douglas House. She is running her own personal “Marathon Jog in June”as a tribute to The Unicorn School. The Unicorn School celebrates its 25 year anniversary this year. In that time we have supported more than 500 pupils with specific learning difficulties such as dyslexia, dyspraxia and dyscalculia. As we enter our second quarter-century our next exciting development is the introduction of our GCSE programme, commencing this September. This will make us unique as Oxfordshire’s only dyslexia-specialist school to offer GCSE education. We are tremendously proud of Millie-Maye and extremely grateful that she has chosen to fundraise for our school. To support Millie-Maye’s fundraising campaign please donate via her Just Giving Page:
