Success for Gresham's show jumping teams

Gresham's had a very successful day at Houghton Horse Trials on Saturday 25th May, with Prep School and Senior School show jumping teams competing in two events.

Both teams won the 'Best Turned Out' category, receiving rosettes and a trophy!

The teams did quite well in their show jumping classes, but a couple of unfortunate poles down meant a drop in the rankings. In the end, the Prep School team achieved a respectable fourth place and the Senior School team secured sixth place. Very good double clear rounds were ridden by Senior School pupil Eleanor Oldfield and Prep School pupil Libby Lukins. Eleanor also came second in the individual ranking, and picked up a nice trophy.

A very fun day was had by all, and the teams are looking forward to competing at future events.
