Trent College Creative Writers succeed in National Competition

This week, our English department were delighted to receive the news that 120 of our Year 7, 8 and 9 students will have their creative writing published. The Young Writers competition required students to write a short story with the theme 'Around the World in 80 Words'.
The successful entries explored a wealth of different experiences and countries which were inspired by holidays, school trips and literature. The students' work will appear in the Leicestershire and Nottinghamshire anthology which is published in May.
It is fantastic to see the enthusiasm and effort that students put in to these National competitions. Congratulations to all of the students involved!
