Former Pupils Lay Foundations for Future Generations

It was a reunion with a difference as representative former and current Head Girls and School Captains of Bolton School gathered on 12 December to lay the Foundation Stone for the new £7m Sixth Form Centre.

The new centre will sit in the heart of the campus and will be used for relaxation and study by over 400 students from the Girls' Division and the Boys' Division Sixth Forms (although single-sex teaching will remain). The construction follows on from the building of a new Infant School, a new Junior Girls' School and a refurbishment of the Junior Boys' School.
