Lambrook Haileybury is a co-educational boarding and day school for children aged 3-13 and is one of the largest and most financially secure of its type in the area.
Set in 40 acres of beautiful grounds, the school has exceptional facilities; its own Chapel, a Sports Hall, extensive playing fields including an all-weather pitch, 9-hole golf course, swimming pool and squash court, and tennis courts. As part of a half million pound building programme, there is a specially designed Science and IT Centre. There is also a purpose-built, state of the art Pre Prep building including enlarged library and a new networked computer system.
The emphasis is on high academic standards and developing well-rounded, independent, creative, caring and confident individuals with sport, music, drama and the creative arts playing an important part in school life.
Many of the well-qualified staff live within the grounds. The curriculum is organised so that a thorough grounding is given in the Pre-prep department, and after a short transition period in the first year in the main school, tuition is given in subject-based classrooms and laboratories.
Lambrook Haileybury has an outstanding record of success in Scholarships and Common Entrance examinations to a wide range of Independent Senior Schools and offers its own Scholarships to children who excel academically, in music, the creative arts or games.
Lambrook Haileybury prides itself on the family atmosphere it has created. Boarding is flexible and designed to reflect life at home by being structured, reassuring and relaxed. Many day parents find that it is only a matter of time before their children want to try out for themselves the fun of boarding for a night, a weekend, a week or a term.
Close to Ascot and Windsor, with the M3, M4 and Heathrow only a few miles away, Lambrook Haileybury is extremely accessible to local people and can also offer a comprehensive service to parents who live abroad or in London.
